Refund Policy
We value each individual’s time and commitment. To ensure fairness and smooth scheduling, please review the refund and cancellation policy below.
1. BOOKING & PAYMENT
The total session fees must be paid in full in advance before the session to confirm your session timeslot.
Timeslots cannot be held or reserved without prior payment to ensure fair availability to all individuals for accessing sessions.
2. CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY
We understand that schedules can change. Here’s how we handle cancellations and refunds:
Requests to cancel or reschedule can be made 24 hours in advance of the start time of the session. In this case, you can either request a refund or use the fee for a future session.
If you cancel or request to reschedule less than 24 hours before the start time of the session, the full fee will be charged and will not be refunded or credited toward a future session.
No refunds will be issued once a session has started.
3. LATE ARRIVALS & NO-SHOWS
If the individual attending the mental training or counselling session does not join the session within 10 minutes of the scheduled start time, the session will be marked as a no-show and the fee will not be refunded or credited toward a future session.
4. SESSION SUITABILITY & RIGHT TO TERMINATE
To ensure the best experience and maintain the integrity of the session, it is required that clients attend their session in a private, distraction-free, and appropriate setting. Sessions should not be attended from a moving vehicle, public place, or any environment that does not allow for privacy or open discussion.
Additionally, if the psychologist determines that the client is not in a fit state of mind to proceed—such as appearing intoxicated, physically unwell, or mentally unfit for the session—the psychologist reserves the right to terminate the session immediately. If there is reason to believe that confidentiality is compromised, such as other people suspected to be listening, the psychologist may also choose to end the session for ethical and professional reasons.
In such cases, the session will not be refunded or rescheduled, and the client will be required to book a new appointment under suitable conditions. The psychologist holds full discretion in making this determination to ensure a safe, ethical, and effective session environment.
5. EXCEPTIONS & DISCRETION
While these policies generally apply, exceptions may be made at our discretion in cases of unforeseen emergencies or extreme circumstances.
6. PAYMENT PROVIDERS & REFUND PROCESSING
Refunds (if applicable) will be processed back to the original payment method within a certain amount of days specified based on the payment provider chosen. If you haven’t received your refund within the specified timeframe, please check with your bank or payment provider.
We process payments securely through Razorpay and PayPal:
Razorpay Refunds: If your payment was made via Razorpay, the refund will be processed as per Razorpay’s policies and should reflect in your account within 5-7 business days.
PayPal Refunds: If you paid through PayPal, refund timelines will depend on PayPal’s processing policies.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable):
If you haven’t received a refund after being eligible for a refund and making a refund request, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
