I wonder why 👉🏽

How do we collectively forget great heroes? ⭐️

Despite being a former India football player myself, having represented as the Vice-Captain and Goalkeeper at the FIFA U-17 Asian Qualifiers, ⚽️

I had no idea about Coach S A Rahim: A true visionary and the man behind the golden era of Indian football. ✨

He took India to the olympics and bagged the gold at the Asian Games, giving the country the the tag of “Brazil of Asia” in the football world. 🌍

However, we never saw the same progress of the game after he passed away.

The film Maidaan brought his story to life. 🎬 @maidaanofficial

💪🏽 Kudos to director, Amit Ravindernath Sharma, actor Ajay Devgn, and the entire team for the amazing performance. @ajaydevgn

It was truly a great and proud experience to watch the game at the big screen. 🇮🇳

I hope that our federations support more coaches like S A Rahim to take the sport to the next level. ✨

💪🏽 Let’s keep promoting sport and the spirit of excellence.
